“Code of Integrity”
We believe that the way an organization handles itself in the financial arena is a reflection of its integrity in every arena. Here at WOW.FM, we've established strict limitations on the way our resources are used as a non-profit, listener-supported radio station.
Here are the policies that guide us every day of the year:
WOW.FM Radio, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, Tax Exempt Corporation, is owned and operated by GOD Works! Inc. which is located in El Paso, Texas, and is supported by the donations and gifts of the WOW.FM family of supporters like yourself. We would like you to know that your giving is important and essential to keep WOW.FM on the "air" 24/7, but more importantly, we want you to understand that every penny that is given to help us meet our budgetary needs will never go unnoticed or unappreciated!
Therefore, we will make our obligations known to our family of listeners at WOW.FM - but we will not squirm, scratch or claw you for contributions. We will never resort to what we consider to be disrespectful and dishonorable methods of fund-raising, even when the needs are serious.
We consider the contributions we receive to be "blood money" sent from loving people who have sacrificed to make their gifts possible. Our obligation, therefore, is to spend that money conservatively and wisely while continuing to build on WOW.FM's foundation. We have no limousines or airplanes or condos in Hawaii. Every penny is stretched as far as possible and is handled with the upmost care and integrity.
At GOD Works! Inc. since we're a 501(c)(3) Corporation, we will receipt any donations if you ask us, showing the fair market value of any materials requested and sent, in order to help contributors determine the tax-deductible portion of their gifts. The U.S. Internal Revenue Code permits donors to deduct the amount they give to WOW.FM (GOD Works! Inc.) in excess of the value of materials received from the organization.
We will never sell or rent our mailing list to those wishing to use the names and addresses of our supporters. Those individuals contacted us in good faith, and if they wanted to receive mail from other organizations, I'm sure they would ask for it. We will maintain the tightest security on our list of friends and supporters.
To summarize, we will always remember that the WOW.FM listener and the people who make this station happen every day come first and that for us, Jesus Christ will always be our possessor and our dispossessor.
