Radio, The Internet, And You!
Here at WOW.FM, we're a non-profit radio station owned by God Works! Inc. which operates from a dumpy little building next to the Rio Grande in El Paso, Texas. Well not really, but we thought it sounded cool anyway!Our main goal is to be able to reach out and touch as many listeners as we can worldwide through the Internet with our music and message. This is an exciting time for Internet radio stations because of the shift in the way people listen to today's broadcast media according to a Boston University Professor.
Mass Communications is going to the Internet and within the next few years, the Internet will act as the main hub for all media outlets. Wi-Fi will be featured in most cars, mobile phones, homes and business' globally speaking, and will capture the hearts of advertising agencies worldwide because of the already Hugh listening audience. Even Arbitron, the company that rates radio stations across the US, rates internet radio as a part of their listening cume audience.
The quality of sound such as you hear on WOW.FM is beyond even CD quality. With today's technologies, we can bring you unsurpassed audio that will rival even the strongest critic. We're proud to bring you a 24 hour music format unlike you've never really heard before.
